Lecture Press Release

At the invitation of the OHRID Institute, Professor Dr. Paul Swope gave a lecture on Entrepreneurship under the title of "Entrepreneurship and Innovation as Engines of Growth Youth Entrepreneurship: The Force of Positive Change". The same as so far the lecture was held in front of the students of the International Educational Curriculum at the University American College on May 21. Professor Swope with the lecture, concluded the International Educational Program. Namely, this was the last lecture to be held at the University American College and it represents the end of the International Curriculum.

We would like to announce that the OHRID Institute one more time brought distinguished professors to teach at the University American College. The lecture on 12 of May was held by the two eminent professors Dr. Pierre Garello from France and Professor Wolfgang Muller from Germany. This lecture differed from the others, namely because the professors established constant debate among the students. OHRID Institute Book Awarded

The OHRID Institute is proud to announce that its published book “Structure of Public Finances in Republic of Macedonia“ written by Prof. Tome Nenovski PhD, has won the state award “Goce Delcev 2009”, annualy given by the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, for special achievements and contribution in the area of science. The OHRID Institute published this book from its most prominent experts in 2008 and it can be considered as a professional guide for all persons engaged in the realization of the system of public finance on central and local level.

Professor Walter Andrysyszyn, Deputy U.S. Permanent Representative U.S. Mission to NATO spoke on 4th of May, 2009 to a group of students, professors and assistants at the University American College. The very title of the lecture put the focus clearly on the NATO alliance its significance in the past and today and the economic development. The professor Andrysyszyn divided the lecture in two parts, first he spoke for the trans-Atlantic agenda and in the second part for the democratization and economic development. more...

The purpose of Professor Andrusyszyn visit in Skopje, Macedonia is the lecture that he will hold on the University American College.
